White Chocolate Cranberry Cake

Ingredients:

  • 100g of white chocolate
  • 50g of dried cranberries
  • 100g of all-purpose flour
  • 80g of sugar
  • 50g of butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp of baking powder
  • 50ml of milk
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Mixing bowl
  • Whisk
  • Baking pan
  • Oven

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • Melt the white chocolate and butter together in a mixing bowl over a pot of simmering water or in the microwave until smooth.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • Add the melted chocolate mixture to the sugar and egg mixture, stirring until incorporated.
  • Sift in the flour and baking powder, then fold gently until just combined.
  • Stir in the milk until the batter is smooth, then fold in the dried cranberries.
  • Pour the batter into a greased baking pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve.
