Ingredients:
- 200g of all-purpose flour
- 100g of granulated sugar
- 50g of brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon of ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 100g of unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 2 medium apples, peeled and chopped
- 50ml of milk
- 100g of caramel sauce for drizzling

Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a baking pan.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, spices, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream the softened butter with granulated and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk. Mix until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped apples gently.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before removing from the pan.
- Drizzle warm caramel sauce on top before serving.
