Ingredients:
- 125g of all-purpose flour
- 50g of cocoa powder
- 150g of granulated sugar
- 1 tsp of baking powder
- 1/2 tsp of baking soda
- 1/2 tsp of salt
- 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
- 1 large egg
- 120ml of buttermilk
- 1 tbsp of red food coloring
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- 1 tsp of white vinegar
- 200g of cream cheese
- 100g of powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract for frosting

Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine 125g of all-purpose flour, 50g of cocoa powder, 150g of granulated sugar, 1 tsp of baking powder, 1/2 tsp of baking soda, and 1/2 tsp of salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup of vegetable oil, 1 large egg, 120ml of buttermilk, 1 tbsp of red food coloring, 1 tsp of vanilla extract, and 1 tsp of white vinegar until smooth.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool completely before frosting.
- For the frosting, beat together 200g of cream cheese, 100g of powdered sugar, and 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Spread the cream cheese frosting on top of the cooled red velvet cake and serve.
