Quick Spaghetti Carbonara

Ingredients:

  • 200g of spaghetti
  • 100g of pancetta
  • 2 large eggs
  • 50g of grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Pot
  • Pan
  • Spatula
  • Measuring cups
  • Serving bowl

Instructions:

  • Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
  • In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat and add the pancetta, cooking until crispy.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper.
  • Once the spaghetti is cooked, reserve a cup of pasta water and drain the rest.
  • Quickly add the hot spaghetti to the pan with pancetta, removing from heat to avoid scrambling the eggs.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the spaghetti, stirring quickly to combine. If it’s too dry, add reserved pasta water until the desired creaminess is reached.
  • Serve immediately with additional Parmesan cheese and black pepper on top.
