Quick and Easy Instant Pot Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 500g of chicken breast
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 1 tsp of black pepper
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil
  • 1 cup of chicken broth
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp of paprika

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Instant Pot
  • Cutting Board
  • Knife
  • Measuring Spoons
  • Stirring Spoon

Instructions:

  • Start by seasoning the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika on both sides.
  • Turn on the Instant Pot and select the ‘Sauté’ function.
  • Add the olive oil to the pot and let it heat up for a minute.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  • Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the pot and sear for 2 minutes on each side.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and close the Instant Pot lid securely.
  • Select the ‘Manual’ or ‘Pressure Cook’ function and set the timer for 5 minutes.
  • Once the cooking time is up, carefully release the pressure using the quick release method.
  • Open the lid and remove the chicken breasts, letting them rest for a few minutes before slicing.
