Holiday Herb-Crusted Salmon

Ingredients:

  • 2 salmon fillets (150g each)
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon of dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Baking sheet
  • Mixing bowl
  • Oven

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, Dijon mustard, dried thyme, dried rosemary, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to create the herb mixture.
  • Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the herb mixture generously over the top of each salmon fillet.
  • Drizzle lemon juice over the salmon for added flavor.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  • Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
