Ingredients:
- 200g of spaghetti
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 lemon, zested and juiced
- 50g of fresh parsley, chopped
- 50g of fresh basil, chopped
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Parmesan cheese for topping (optional)
Kitchen Tools Needed:

Instructions:
- Boil a pot of salted water and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
- In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat and add the minced garlic, frying until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the lemon zest and lemon juice to the pan, stirring well.
- Once the spaghetti is cooked, reserve a bit of the pasta water and drain the rest using a strainer.
- Add the drained spaghetti to the pan with the garlic lemon sauce, tossing to combine.
- If the pasta seems dry, add a splash of the reserved pasta water.
- Stir in the chopped parsley and basil, mixing well.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, topped with Parmesan cheese if desired.
