Grilled Banana and Cheese Sandwich

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of whole grain bread
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 2 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon of butter

Instructions:

  • Heat a pan over medium heat.
  • Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  • Place one slice of bread, butter side down, on the pan.
  • Layer 1 slice of cheese, followed by sliced banana, and then another slice of cheese on top.
  • Cover with the second slice of bread, butter side up.
  • Cook until golden brown on one side, about 2 minutes, then flip and cook until the cheese is melted and both sides are golden brown.
  • Remove from the pan and let cool slightly before cutting in half.
