Ingredients:
- 100g of all-purpose flour
- 50g of brown sugar
- 1 tsp of baking soda
- 1 tsp of ground ginger
- 1 tsp of ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp of ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp of salt
- 2 tbsp of unsalted butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 75ml of milk
- 50g of molasses
- 100g of cream cheese, softened
- 50g of powdered sugar
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract

Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a small baking pan.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, brown sugar, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until well combined.
- In another bowl, cream the softened butter, then add the egg, milk, and molasses. Mix until smooth.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- While the cake is baking, prepare the cream cheese frosting by mixing the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract with a hand mixer until smooth and fluffy.
- Once the cake has cooled completely, spread the cream cheese frosting on top using a spatula.
- Slice into two servings and enjoy your Gingerbread Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting.
