Ingredients:
- 1 kg of prime rib roast
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 100g of unsalted butter, softened
- 2 tsp of salt
- 1 tsp of black pepper
- 2 sprigs of fresh rosemary, chopped
- 2 sprigs of fresh thyme, chopped
Kitchen Tools Needed:

Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).
- In a bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, chopped thyme, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Rub the garlic butter mixture all over the prime rib roast, ensuring it’s evenly coated.
- Place the roast in a roasting pan and insert a meat thermometer into the thickest part of the roast.
- Roast in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes for medium-rare, or until the internal temperature reaches 55°C (130°F).
- Once done, remove from the oven and cover with aluminum foil. Let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
