Ingredients:

  • 100g of all-purpose flour
  • 75g of sugar
  • 50g of unsalted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 50ml of milk
  • 50g of chopped pecans
  • 100g of caramel sauce
  • 1 tsp of baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Mixing bowl

  • Baking pan
  • Oven

Instructions:

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • In a mixing bowl, cream together the unsalted butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs and vanilla extract, then mix until combined.
  • In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt, then gradually add to the wet mixture with the milk.
  • Fold in the chopped pecans gently.
  • Pour the batter into a greased baking pan and smooth the top.
  • Drizzle the caramel sauce on top of the batter.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving.
